Dr. Tammy Kowalczyk is a Professor of Accounting at Appalachian State University. She teaches predominantly in the area of financial accounting and Sustainability Accounting. Her research interests have been predominantly in the area of judgment and decision-making in accounting environments, and in taxation, but current research is primarily focused on sustainability accounting. She enjoys spending time outdoors with her husband and son, is an avid runner, and loves being a mom.
