Lynn Stallworth is a Professor of Accounting. She has been teaching financial accounting at Appalachian since 2006. Dr. Stallworth is an established case-writer who has published numerous cases in Issues in Accounting Education, one of which was awarded the American Taxation Association/Deloitte Teaching Innovation Award in 2015.  Her cases and research on pedagogical issues and earnings management have been published in The Journal of Accounting Case Research and The CPA Journal, among others. Dr. Stallworth has an annual visiting professorship at the University of Angers, France where she has lectures on corporate and international accounting.   When not working, she enjoys spending time with her two sons in the mountains and at the lake.
