Scot Justice is an Assistant Accounting Professor at Appalachian State University. Prior to transitioning to a career in academics, Scot enjoyed a professional career as an entrepreneur, financial manager, and public accountant. Scot’s research interests include fraud, financial reporting for small and medium entities, corporate and nonprofit governance, and accounting information technology for industry and public accounting. Scot’s research has been published in the Journal of Accounting and Public Policy and the Journal of Forensic Accounting Research. Scot enjoys his time away from teaching with his wife Linda and daughter Hannah.
