Dr. Zelazny is an Assistant Professor in Accounting at Appalachian State University. Prior to joining the faculty at App State, Dr. Zelazny taught various accounting courses at UNC – Asheville, the University of Dayton, and Texas State University – San Marcos. His research interests include performance management systems, positive psychology, work motivation, accounting information systems, generational issues, and data analytics. Lucian's research has been published in journals such as The Journal of Business and Psychology, The CPA Journal, Personality and Individual Differences, Cost Management, and Internal Auditing. He enjoys spending time with his family, playing softball and racquetball, and hiking in the mountains.
