Tyler Johnson is an Assistant Professor of Accounting at Appalachian State University. Prior to transitioning to a career in academics, Tyler was a Federal Tax Manager at a major public accounting firm. His research focuses on federal and state taxation, corporate tax avoidance, and business decisions. Tyler enjoys spending time with his family, fishing, hiking, and anything to do with sports.
