Accounting Alumni CPE Conference

The 2011 Appalachian Accounting Alumni CPE Conference will be held Friday, November 11 at the Broyhill Inn and Conference Center in Boone. Conference and registration information will be available here on October 10.

Each year approximately 200 alumni and other professionals attend the annual CPE Conference at Appalachian. Its objective is to provide a forum for accounting professionals to examine, explore, and discuss issues of interest and concern to those in the accounting profession.

Attendees earn up to eight hours of CPE credit. The conference is free to Appalachian State University Department of Accounting alumni. Other professionals are invited to attend the conference for a small fee.

Registration is now being accepted online.

CPE Details

  • Business casual dress
  • Alumni are encouraged to donate a minimum of $75 each to defray the costs of the Conference. Checks should be made payable to Appalachian and mailed to Department of Accounting, ASU PO Box 32013, Boone, NC 28608.
  • Fee for non-alumni = $150. Checks are due no later than November 4th.

  • Objective: To provide a forum for accounting professionals to examine, explore, and discuss issues of interest and concern to those in the accounting profession.

The Department of Accounting at Appalachian State University is registered with the North Carolina State Board of CPA Examiners as a sponsor of continuing professional education.
